Thanksgiving Day

We had a great Thanksgiving. Grandma came for a 2 week visit. It was so nice to have her help. Every thanksgiving we take the kids to J.C's orchard to take pictures with the pumpkin. When I saw the pumpkin hat at the store I had to get it just for these pictures. Parker loved sitting in the pumpkins.

First Day of Senior Kindergarten

Jake started Senior Kindergarten this fall. He is in french immersion and I think he knows more french than I do and it is only October. He surprises me everyday with the things he says and does. It is fun watching him grow however sometimes I wish he could stay a baby forever.

Camping with the Nichols

On the September long weekend we went to Charleston Lake with the Nichols. Ontario has so many beautiful campgrounds (minus the mountains of course). Jake, Abbey and I caught our first fish. The kids had so much fun with Ashton and Alia. We overheard Ashton tell Abbey he loved her. The wedding plans are in the works. They are so sweet. Anyway it was a good wrap up for the summer.

Jake is Five

Jake turned 5 on August 27. I can't believe how fast time fly's when you have little kids. I wish I couled keep them little forever. We had a really fun party for him. Of course it was cowboy themed. We had horse races and a pinata and lots of other fun games. Jake loved it. Jordy had actually aranged to borrow a miniature horse for the back yard, however it unfortunately didn't work out. Anyway he had fun anyway. Jake is 100% boy. He loves sports and has a true passion for horses and all that kind of stuff. He can be a little stinker but is always the first to cuddle with me and tell me he loves me.

Camping Trip to Presquille

We had so much fun on this trip. We just bought a tent trailer. The kids and especially Jordy were very excited to try it out. Jake had so much fun swimming at the beach. Abbey prefered to play in the sand, and Parker enjoyed eating the sand.

CUTE KIDS

Jake had his friend Rhett come over to play and they just happened to be wearing the same outfit, so we had to take a picture. Parker fell asleep sitting up and then slumped onto his face. Abbey had her first haircut. It basically looks the same as it did in the first place.

MISCELLANIOUS

Parker loves to give kisses. Just looking at his cute little face makes me feel happy. He is such a happy baby and he melts my heart everyday.

MARINE LAND

We went to Marine Land while we were in Niagara falls. I paid 8 dollars so Jake could pet a baluga whale and feed it a fish. When he wnt to feed it he was pretty freaked out so I got to pet the whale. We had a good time however we just got back from Sea World so it was'nt quite as spectacular.

NIAGARAFALLS

We went to Niagara falls on the week of July 4. We saw the fire works over the falls and went to marine land. It is a neat little town and it was nice to get away for a few days.

Soccer

We put Jake in soccer this year and he absolutely loves it. Last saturday he scored a goal. He was so excited and proud of himself. He naturally has a desire to compete. It is really fun watching him play.

CANADA DAY

Parker is trying to get his hat off.

For Canada Day our ward had a BBQ and bought a blow up bouncer and waterslide. The kids had so much fun.

Big brother Jake

Jake is so good to Parker and lately very helpful to me. One night I was trying to get dinner cleaned up and Parker wouldn't let me do it . I asked Jake if he would hold him for me. He held him and very quietly sang the song from the movie "Spirit" (of course) in his ear. Parker fell asleep and i got the dishes done. It was so sweet and Jake was so proud of himself.
